New members are signing up to join Inkberrow Bowls Club after a successful Open Day.

The event included a live update on BBC Hereford and Worcester with Andrew Easton, Saturday afternoon presenter.

"It's a great sport that people of all ages can play", said Alan Slater, club President during the interview.

"Many of the top bowlers now are in their 30s and 40s. Families are welcome, so feel free to come along and have a go."

The club holds a range of social events - bingo, quiz and skittles evenings, barbeques and fish and chips suppers.

New members and anyone interested in lawn bowls are welcome to turn up for informal roll-up sessions on Wednesday mornings at 10am and Friday afternoons at 5pm. Coaching is also available.
